If you can get this game for around the 20 or 30 dollar price range, I'd say it's worth it to just have another game to play at parties or when you have friends over. Hopefully, Konami will make a bigger and better sequel in the future if they feel this game has rekindled interest in the franchise. Also, some mechanical issues have been fixed, such as the framerate. In general, the gameplay is a pretty standard Bomberman experience and while there are definitely better entries in the franchise out there, for those perhaps new to the series or just looking to have another multiplayer game for the Switch, this game is well-suited for that. While the online play is not the best, with some lag and a problematic pairing system as others have mentioned, I felt that the single player and the local multiplayer was pretty solid with it being quite easy to pass a joycon to a friend or family member and just have a quick match.
